National Road Show for Livery Products Launching in April
SAN DIEGO, Ca, March 12, 2014 – American Motor Products, Inc. (AMProd) is hitting the road! And they are taking a lot of friends with them. Designed as a product showcase, this 1st time ever National Road Show brings NLA Affinity designated products, services, and brands directly to local Limo Associations all across the country. The platform is a 40 foot motor home bus, wrapped with all the sponsors’ products and brand logos. It will visit 38 major cities, as well as the 3 major Limousine Shows, through the 2014 year. Stopping in each city, the show will be presented to Limo Associations and their members, as well as other major transportation companies. The gatherings will be promoted by invitations from the National Limousine Association, local Limo Associations, the American Motor Products customer list, as well as sponsor invitations from their customer lists. Each sponsor will provide a short 3 minute video presentation of their product, along with information packets for potential customers. AMProd will engage Livery Operators with Q&A on each product, or indicate interest in products by providing all their contact information for follow up by the sponsor. Many of the sponsors will participate in person at a number of cities and show stops, and present to the Operators directly. At each Association and major Operator stop, AMProd will introduce the Road Show as a travelling trade show, name the sponsor participants, play the video reel of sponsors, and provide interest forms to be immediately sent to sponsors. The 15 sponsors are limited to AMProd’s partnered product and service line companies, and a number of other National Limousine Association endorsed companies. Current committed sponsor companies include: the NLA, Michelin, Safety-Kleen. TBC Corporation has come on as a major sponsor to promote their brands and commitment to serve the Livery industry with: Big O Tires, Merchants Tire & Service Centers, Tire Kingdom Service Centers, Midas, and NTB Tire & Service Centers. The show will present over 35 weeks during the 12 month period, with an additional 3 weeks committed for the Limo Show weeks. AMProd expects several other sponsor companies to join the tour within weeks. David and Wendy Ward will be the hosts on the road in each city. This is a very unique opportunity for the industry to join with these master presenters and sales executives, as they tour the country engaging Livery Operators directly where they live. They have a unique ability to create interest and excitement about these money saving products, and have committed to a year on the road bringing only the very best products as endorsed by the NLA with them.

American Motor Products and Michelin Have Partnered to Bring a Fleet Tire and Service Card to the Livery Industry. SAN DIEGO, CA, June 10th, 2013 - American Motor Products, Inc. (AMProd) has partnered with Michelin to bring a unique and first of its kind Fleet Discount Card specifically for the Livery Industry. Livery Operators across the country can now obtain their tires through authorized local Michelin Dealers, and get the discounted National Fleet Account price. In addition, when they obtain the AMProd Fleet Card, normal service and maintenance are also discounted through the National Fleet Account. Savings are expected to be in the 20-30% range from normal local pricing, and tires are less expensive than through any other outlet.
Yes, the Michelin P245/60R/17 (T108) Energy LX4's, the heavy duty Limo tires everyone is looking for and can't find, are a part of the program. With tires shipping beginning approximately the week of June 17th, Michelin will be stocking all their Dealers with the tire. With the AMProd Fleet Card, Livery Operators can expect to pay significantly less. For several months, American Motor Products has been working closely with Michelin to find the best way to bring the tires the industry needs back to the market, while ensuring that pricing stays affordable. With the AMProd Fleet Card in hand, Livery Operators can go directly to local Michelin Authorized Dealers, present the card, and have all their tire and service purchases paid on their credit card through the National Account. The authorized dealers have Michelin, Goodrich, and Uniroyal tires in stock, and so can supply operators with tires for all their vehicles – from Towncars and Limo's, all the way up to bus sizes.
